Zayn Malik has upset his loyal fan-base by posting a photo of himself smoking a cigarette on Instagram.

One Direction fans aren't best pleased with Zayn Malik - not only has he started up a new Instagram account, deleting all the memories of his former boyband life, he has also posted a the pic with a "suspicious looking cigarette" (as the Daily Mail would write).

Starting over with a fresh new slate, Zayn's new Instagram account is predominantly filled with selfies.

One Instagram follower commented, "Stop smoking!!!!", and another told Zayn to "please pay attention to your health because your health is more important than anyone."
